Bahamas Immersive Underwater Education

Engage in a variety of amazing experiences during the Marine Biology Summer Camp in The Bahamas trip, including:

  • Snorkeling the Andros Barrier Reef, the world’s third-longest fringing barrier reef, allows students the opportunity to see the Sites and Sights of Andros Island.

  • Learn marine biology field skills for marine environments: mangrove habitats, seagrass beds, and coral reefs.

Students will gain hands-on experience and understand how to properly research, measure and evaluate marine ecosystems. Watch our Forfar Field Station Experience video to learn more about the experience.

Forfar is a well-kept secret from the rest of the world. The rustic experience of living on the beach in a community with experts in their field was absolutely amazing. I learned so much about conservation, and about the flora and fauna of the Bahamas.
